SO, WHAT ABOUT THE WATER BLADDER?

Your bag comes with a 2-litre water bladder included, 38 x 18cm in size. It's suitable for temperatures ranging between -20 and +40 °C, for water: no milk, no alcohol, and no putting it in the microwave ;)
The tube is 100cm long and you can cut it to whatever length you want!

A BAG SO LIGHT YOU DON'T EVEN NOTICE IT

available in 3 sizes (XS/S, M/L, plus XL available online and in store) and easily adjustable:
- you can adjust the height of the 3 front straps
- the 2 straps on the side pockets adjust the tightness of the bag.
Result: Your bag stays so stable you'll forget you've even got it on while trail running.

A DESIGN LOADED WITH DETAILS, TO MAKE YOUR LIFE EASY

your tube is held in pace by a magnetic attachment: it goes back in its place automatically when you let it go
- The kangaroo pocket at the back lets you access your rain jacket in one move
- Your smartphone is within easy reach, in a waterproof zipped pocket at the front
- The 110db safety whistle is incorporated inside a front pocket.

NEVER RUN WITHOUT YOUR POLES?

Along with the whistle - mandatory in many races - which is located in the little chest pocket (hence near your mouth!), this bag also features 2 elastic straps on each side to attach your 3-section trail running poles.

GAËTAN, KALENJI PRODUCT MANAGER, TELLS THE STORY BEHIND THE 15L ULTRA TRAIL BAG:

We wanted a bag that'll take you to the end of your trails in complete safety and that can carry all your mandatory gear. We took our customers' opinions into account, for instance adding the smartphone pocket.
We based it on the Mont Blanc ultra trail - the world's most demanding run. Then we did 2 sets of protocol led tests that yielded splendid results.
We're proud of this product, we spent a lot of time working on its stability, compartmentalization and accessibility.

MY REVIEW

For 5 years I've used a Soloman bag which is no longer available,  it zips up at the front and uses a bladder. But due to me wasting so much time at checkpoints points I wanted one with capacity for soft flasks, it also had to have lots of pockets ate the front. After looking at various bags I decided on this one, the cost was also a very big factor, this one seemed to do everything the more expensive must have brands had at a much lower cost.

In events so far I've used it twice, canalathon 100k 2019 and Thames Path 100 2019. It was more than capable of carrying the mandatory kit with room left for extras if you wish.

2 x 500 mil soft flasks work perfectly well in the pockets and there are plenty other front pockets for food, gels, phone etc. Was very happy with the pocket arrangement.

The only issue I have had is on the right side it rubbed on my neck, it obviously does not mean it would for you. I found that out on canalathon so for the TP100 as a precaution I put a bit of tape on the neck and had a shirt with a collar.  All through the TP100 I never noticed any rubbing whatsoever.  I had also adjusted streps etc so it was feeling snug and hardly moved.

I'm not one to buy named stuff just because it's the done thing, I buy kit because it's there to do a job and this bag does the job perfectly.
