FUNDRAISING FOR NSPKU
The NSPKU is a self funded charity, they get no help other than donations. The good people at the NSPKU work tirelessly to everyone who has PKU. They lead the fight do get a drug called KUVAN made available by the NHS to all it will help. Kuvan can massively help to expand the diet of someone with pku. It will help them experience food you and I take for granted.
On a day to day basis anyone can contact NSPKU for help on diet, blood tests, issues with prescriptions etc.
They are a fantastic help to everyone who deals with them.
So I do my bit in trying to raise funds for NSPKU which will contribute money which enables them to carry on with their great work.
I often have the begging bowl out when we do our daft running events, but its difficult, we all know how much and how often we are asked to donate.
But I plead with you, if you like these pages, if you follow the running we do or if you just want to donate, then please do. Any amount, how big or small is greatly received and appreciated.
